Thank you to the TYs who designed our school's remembrance tree under the guidance of Ms Lenihan - everyone in the school had the opportunity to write the name/s of loved ones and those they wished to remember on an autumn leaf which was then beautifully put together into a tree. Thank you also to Fr Brian (our wonderful chaplain) for taking each and every class group individually for over 30 remembrance prayer services throughout November!
It's been 2 weeks since we released The Le Chéile Blessing on our school feast day - 2nd October. Since then, the reaction to the video has been overwhelming with people all over the world contacting us in comments and private messages to thank the students and staff for the hopefulness and encouragement that the video has given them. It has been shared widely on social media with some screenshots below as well as traditional media outlets such as The Irish Catholic (link to article below) and The Dublin Gazette (link to article below). Just this morning, Mr Walshe and Kelsey (6th year) gave an uplifting interview live on Spirit Radio with Wendy Grace (The Morning Show) during which the song was played also (podcast here, our interview starts at 18:50 (link below). We were delighted to hear that the video was also shared in the Mater Hospital's CEO update to all staff. If you haven't seen it yet check it out now and please consider sharing it! Best wishes. We look forward to welcoming you to the TY programme next week! Exciting plans for a very different TY are progressing well while leaving space for your input and ideas! Take care.
Hi all - we hope you're doing well and are looking forward to 5th year! We haven't forgotten you... and we will meet as a group as soon as possible to discuss and end of TY event! Take care.
