On the 11th of September, Le Chéile's whole TY class ventured out to Punchestown Racecourse Event Centre to attend the TY Expo. We arrived there at 11:00 am by bus, excited and hyper off handfuls of sweets. As we entered the event, the place was packed with students from schools all around Ireland . A host interacting with students could be heard in the background while we all rambled inside and got greeted my staff. Adrenaline flowed down my spine as we all got paper bags for all the information and fliers we acquired throughput the event. Science, nature and leisure activity stands could be seen around the centre. My favourite being the SciFest stand as holograms and different experiments could be seen. Many gathered beside the Butlers Chocolate stand because free hot chocolate and sweets where being given out. Some of us also took part in activities such as playing instruments and games at the event. About an hour into the event, we all sat down and had lunch together ,sharing stories of experiences at different stands and the wrist band collections everyone had. Overall, it was an amazing opportunity to see all of the possibilities in TY, such as courses, trips and competitions to enter. We then, continued our adventure to Glendalough. Many thanks to Mr.Walshe for this opportunity!
